Ok so I used to have a Beta fish, you know the bright colored fighter kind. Her name was Georgie and I had her in College. I left her home one semester with my sister and I came back to the news of her death. My sister was devastated that she killed my only pet. She actually cried. I was sad she was gone but it was cute that my older sister was so distraught the she killed Georgie.
It is funny how fish are the pets we buy when we crave some type of a fun & cute companion that we know we are way to busy for. First you always think of Dog then cat etc...I always come right to the conclusion that I am way too busy for a real pet. SO yesterday I was driving around and randomly passed a pet store just as I was telling my boyfriend the story about Georgie..Too me it was a sign. So we turned around and bought a new fishy. She is completely beautiful and cute (as much as a fish can be) and her name is Masie.
